Carnage Industries is a small family and friend owned company founded in 2000 by Shawn Mattingly
and his father, Chris Mattingly. We originally started by retailing Halloween and haunted house
equipment online, but soon expanded into other entertainment supplies including lighting equipment
and magic supplies. In addition to online retail sales of entertainment products and equipment,
Carnage Industries also designed, constructed, and operated haunted attractions in the Louisville, Kentucky
area for several years. Their shows included the Carnage Complex, Castle of Carnage, Scare Fair in 3-D,
Shock Fest, and the USS Frightliner. Even though we enjoyed the haunted attraction business, our
efforts are now focused on providing products to the haunted attraction industry. However, our experience in the field
provides us with a greater ability to provide superior customer service to our customers already in the
haunted attraction business and those looking to start in the industry.
In 2001, Carnage Industries purchased Pyro Power Pyrotechnics,
a small Indiana business in the retail fireworks trade.
This opened the doors to providing further entertainment
products to home users and also started us in the 'brick
and mortar' store business. After several summer seasonal
store operations we opened our first year-round retail
store in Corydon, Indiana in 2006: Boo & Booms.
In addition to fireworks for Independence Day, Boo
& Booms offers fireworks year-round and also offers
our other entertainment lines: Halloween costumes and
props and magic equipment. To help our southern Indiana
customers have fun during seasons other than Halloween
and Independence day, Boo & Booms has since added an
entire line of party supplies for weddings, birthdays,
anniversaries, holidays and more!
With our efforts now exclusively focused on providing the world with fun and exciting entertainment products,
Carnage Industries has many plans for the coming years to continue improving both our product selection and our
customer service.

Chris Mattingly - President
With over 30 years experience in the customer service field and 20 years as an entrepreneur, Chris Mattingly brings a great deal
of insight to Carnage Industries. Chris is responsible for management of our retail store - Boo & Booms, telephone customer support,
and also helps investigate new product lines and new product testing.

Shawn Mattingly - Vice-President
Shawn Mattingly started his first business in high school performing as 'The Magic Man'. Shawn enjoyed performing magic
for children's birthday parties, local restaurants, the county fair, and volunteering shows for the local elementary school.
It was his love of performing magic that pushed him to offer high quality magic items and superior customer service to magicians
and new magic beginners.
Shawn is involved in many aspects of Carnage Industries. He is responsible for the technical department including website
creation, maintenance, and email customer service. In addition, Shawn has a great deal of involvement in catalog and print
advertising development. With his extensive experience in performing magic and designing haunted attractions, Shawn also is very
involved in scouting for and testing new products.
